Agilent Logic Analyzer Connector

The Agilent Logic Analyzer Connector has 2 Mictor (38-pins, male) sockets to be used for an Agilent logic analyzer. 64 signals can be traced.

It can be plugged anywhere in the system, and multiple Agilent Logic Analyzer Connectors can be plugged next to each other.

The additional FPGA can (optional) be used for pin-multiplexing. Only 8 IOs are needed to trace 64 signals. The bitstream for this design is available on board and as .bit file. It can be overwritten and rewritten by the user.

USB interface

This ASB hosts the Cypress CY7C67300 (embedded USB host controller). It has 2 serial interface engines and one USB Host.

All GPIO signals are connected to the FPGA connections. An EEProm is used to store the firmware.

  Ethernet Interface

Marvell Alaska PHY device (88E1111) is used to operate at 10/100/1000 Mb/s. The interface (MII, GMII, RGMII, SGMII) are set by MDI0 commands.

This customer specific ASB can be ordered. For more information please contact EDAptability. If you need your own ethernet PHY, EDAptability offers the free of charge service to build these ASB customer specific. EDAptability's philosophy is, that the ASB are optimized for the customer to perfectly fit the customer needs.

RocketIO Interface

This ASB is connected on top of the top-FPGA-Board. It accesses 4 RocketIO channels of each FPGA. Each channel has 4 SMB-connectors (TxData, TXClk, RxData, RxClk).

It can be used for streaming data into/from the FPGAs. If more channels are needed, EDAptability offers modification service, which is free of charge, unless the modifications aren't too complex.

Memory

The memory boards are generated on customer request and based on customer memory definitions. Instead of adapting the design to the prototyping system, EDAptability offers the customer to define the memory of interest and a specific board is fabricated.

The costs of these memory boards are around 20€/26$ without the memory device. The delivery time is roughly 3 weeks. An in-system-testbench comes with the product to prove the functionality.

Oscillator Holder

The Oscillator Holder can carry up to two (14-pin-size or 8-pin-size) oscillators. The clock signals can be connected to the FPGA-Board clock-io-area.

It can be plugged anywhere in the system, and multiple Oscillator Holders can be placed next to each other.

2.54-pitch Board

This board has a 2.54-pitch area to be used for customer logic. FPGA-signals are routed to dedicated pins of this board. It can be ordered in 1..5-row width. The picture shows a 4-row wide board.
